“I never tried to prove nothing, just wanted to give a good show. My life has always been my music, it’s always come first, but the music ain’t worth nothing if you can’t lay it on the public. The main thing is to live for that audience, ’cause what you’re there for is to please the people.”

Negligee and pajamas can very easily make it to the… streets! This year unveiled a new kinky trend, and we’re sure that after pajamas on the streets the next big thing will be naked and topless fashion… Did you ever risk to wear a silk dressing gown at any time of the day? Lingerie style is seducing its way from the bedrooms straight to an office open space.

Now it’s an official fashion trend: bed dressing is no longer reserved exclusively for the bedroom. And what we mean are not just pajama shirts by day… We can see the whole array of nightgowns, silk robes, slinky camisoles and pajama-style silk trousers featured. All during the new summer fashion runways… All in all, these tendencies are reinstating that such lingerie style became seducing beyond the boudoirs and beds… The mood of the season is to be as overtly sexy and provocative, as only possible. But how do you handle this in a right way? When it comes to robes, oyster-colored silk looks more luxurious and posh, than white. This was proved by Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, being softer on the complexion. Keep cuffs short still: bracelet length means uber-chic and is far more practical when eating saucy pasta. Dirt the sex appeal by choosing a plunging neckline in an otherwise all-covered-up loose-fitting look. Also, you can toughen it up! Do it with a floor-length slip dress by combining it with a bomber jacket and trainers, as seen with Alexander Wang’s collections. Trailing ribbons at Givenchy and Calvin Klein delve into another theme of the season. That’s the idea of coming undone, which is enhanced with open, almost vulgarian sensuality. Finally, restrain yourself from ballet flats and up your look with heels or studded boots…

Might look like your style, in case you spend your weekends enjoying the latest Netflix obsession. Perhaps you also hardly get yourself off the couch…? A black tee, jeans and a moto jacket (a.k.a. the lazy weekend uniform) are gonna do it for you anytime? If you go out like that on Saturday nights, then you’re going to be extra happy about fashion’s newest obsession: public-wear PJs.

Recently we’ve seen a whole lineup of celebrities (like Jessica Alba, Wiz Khalifa, Naomi Campbell) stepping out in classic silk pajama set… Wearing just their nighties, they hit up the dinner parties, night clubs and more. Our guess is that that may be the absolute easiest trend of all time to replicate. See below for the complete guide (by famous faces) to pajama party dressing.

An actress Jessica Alba executes her “spring break dinner fashions” in a casual and comfy style… An H&M striped suit which she says “looks and feels like pajamas” is what she was recently seen wearing on a gala. Still, instead of overtly sexy, this star keeps it chic (rather than couch-bound) thanks to some smart styling. Also, her own fashion invention of pairing the suit with Céline espadrille wedges and fresh-from-the-beach loose waves… It works just fine for her! What’s the catch? You can try the trend without spending a fortune because both her H&M jacket, $99 and bottoms, $69.99 are available to buy now.

Still, what distinguishes a true style setter from a lousy copycat, are the pants. Yep, which should be so cool, they can stop even Kanye West’s obscure tweets right in the middle. Wiz Khalifa is such a dude. Without any doubt, he’d be the first to make #wizwearscoolPJs a thing. The trends which we’d totally love to copy. Mismatched bottoms and tops make the look very careless. That style is comfy enough to rage in … as well as to get a morning rest after a hard rocking night the next day.

Traveling in a pajama

At first, we hardly believed our own eyes when we saw Zoë Kravitz (Lenny’s daughter) wearing PJs on her way to the airport. That’s because she paired a dark blue silk set with a navy overcoat and complementing black accessories. So the overall style was kept color quiet and minimal… We strongly suspect, that was way more comfortable than squeezing into too-tight yoga pants. A thing no one has to suffer through!

Pajamas and negligee at a gala dinner?

Finally, the Dolce & Gabbana also had their say regarding the trend… Their fashion week pajama party attracted big name stars wearing their bedroom best. Such an obvious support from celebs reassured all doubters that wearing less or next to no clothes is what women must now resort to.

On the top of it all, let’s take Nicole Richie

When you’re wearing a vividly colored tee with a flower print you really need to go big or go home with your accessories… She did play it good, with the bejeweled headband keeping all this together as a one styling piece…

Of course, there’s also another, even more, provocative way jump on this wagon… Try it by really going for an “intimate apparel” vibe (refer ti Joan Small’s open lace bracelet).

But if your nighttime outfit consists of more nightgowns than a button-down, that’s still a hot look at the moment too. It will work like a charm with a slinky slip dress and an oversize fur (like à la Amber Valletta).
